Hi, people.

I'm testing the notification alerts by monitoring a device with a disabled
service and then un-monitoring it. The alert is configured to e-mail me.
The e-mail appears to work okay, but the WUG 6.0 console appears to have a
default alarm that goes off during the course of the polling. It's just
two quick siren sounds, like "weeEE.....weeEE".

Question:

Is the console "supposed" to have this default alarm sound? When I was
playing with the notifications and selecting a specific "sound" alert, the
sound I chose did not play during the course of the actual notification.
Instead, I got this same siren sound I described above.

My pollings are set for every 60 seconds and triggered after 1 poll (for
the sake of testing this problem). Currently, the siren sounds on the
console go off every 25 seconds. Also, the quiet mode button and menu
option are greyed out on the console. Anybody have an idea what's going on
here????? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks much!
