Carl, I'm not sure what you mean. I'd like to setup a custom service for a
web page and test it's search engine.

Any ideas, its running on Unix boxes.

Depending on the OS. If it is a W2K or NT service, you can monitor that. If
it's stopping causes a logged event, you can get a product to monitor the
log and issue an SNMP.
