I'll add my vote for the retro look.  All of my debugging is from the WEB page, 
and having the log disappear is a major pain.  I'd suggest a sliding window, 
where if you tell it you want to see N days worth of log, the N+1 day of events 
is archived, that way when ever you look at an individual log (or even the 
entire log) you'll see the time you want to see.

Another solution is to put dynamic web links to the archived tab files so that 
when you ask for a log file, you'd be given a menu for which week you'd like to 
look at it.  Dynamic in this context means that I would be given a choice of 
looking at present week, one week ago, two weeks ago etc.  The event report 
that gives accumlative downtime and total events for each device in the map IS 
NOT a substitute for the quick look.

I may have to stay at rev 5 unless a solution can be provided.
