I have disable the web server and still have the same problem. I even
removed the DSN, rebooted the WUG server, added a new User DSN, restarted
WUG and still had the problem.

Is the web-server in WUG running? If so, and it's running on Port 80
(default), that could be your problem.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] IE 5.5 and WhatsupGold
I am having a strange problem with IE 5.5 SP1 and WhatsupGold 6.02. I am
running both on a Win2k Server Sp2. Before WhatsupGold was installed IE
worked fine. However, once WhatsupGold was installed, IE would freeze at
execution. If the server is rebooted, IE will work until WhatsupGold is
run.
I have tried reinstalling WhatsupGold, IE, and Service Pack 2 for Win2k but
with no success. I have even tried different combinations of reinstalling
(IE first, then WhatsupGold -or- WhatsupGold then IE then SP2) but I get
the
same results. I also have WhatsupGold running on a Win2k Pro and it works
without problems and they were configured the same (defaults all the way).
Any ideas?
-Jonathan
