We have been clicking on the "submit" button. It will show in the map, BUT
if we reboot the server, it is gone. It shows up fine, as long as we do not
shut down the program.

Go to the map you changed, click on "Settings" and then on "Submit". That
will do the trick... we had the same problem here :) Just read the manual ;)
