this is what I did to work around the elusive pager settings.
 I set WUG up to beep my pager on one alert, and also send email to my pager number. the email looks great, very detailed.
 you will need to have a email enabled pager, usually about 5 dollars more per month here in the states.
 hope this helps a little, and if you ever get the pager alert working on its own, let us all know.
