That's "probable". I assume so. I say probable only because I have every
single map opened and minimized anyway. A map must be opened on the
console in order to be able to view it via the web browser.

Chris -

Thanks for your feedback! You are right... Yes, I can see my lower level
containers change status within a master container representing their
current status. Do I need to have the "lower level containers" window
minimized to see this change ?

I created a lower level container and assigned to it the "vpn.map" under
both MAP NAME and IP ADDRESS fields. At this time, I am receiving updates
but I must have all maps open or minimized...is this necessary ?

Regards,

Manny

Unless I am misunderstanding you completely.......

The VPN container is a subnet within your network map, right? The VPN
subnet icon SHOULD change color as a device within its map goes down. I've
got several layers of subnets, and when a device goes down in the deepest
one, the color notification works it way all the way up to the top map.

Issue -

Currently, I have a map monitoring the network. In that map I have added
 a container for VPN devices.

Question: How can I have the "VPN container" change colors or state if a
device inside that container is unavailable ?

Thank your for your time and assistance.
