To add/edit/delete Alerts on a selection of devices select them all and right click, select "Add Alerts to Selected Devices". Add, edit or remove the alerts from the group of devices.
(v7) For dependencies in edit mode turn on the dependency arrows then use the right click menu to set dependencies between two devices.
