I have a web server which is having multiple IP addresses(ONE NIC) corresponding to each of the web site on it. I want to monitor "IIS Admin Service" and "WWW service" on that web server. From Whatsup Gold I tried to extract the real names of these services by giving the IP address, it couldnot show any of the Services. Sometimes it shows the services if I provide the Computer Name instead of IP address. So I extracted the real names of those services using the IP address of a server which is having only single IP address and added them as custom NT service. Then I opned the properties sheet of server with multiple IP addresses and selected those two services from the services list to be monitored, even then Whatsup gold is not able to monitor these services.
Did any one of you have the same problem about the server with the multiple IP addresses. Any suggestions.
