We have a notification group setup to first send email's then send pages.
This is all fine except if the email server is down, the pages are delayed
until the retry count (I think it is set internally to 10) has been
exceeded, then the pages will go out.   It seems that the notification
engine doesn't multi-thread at all.

If there is a wishlist, I'd like to see a notifications enhancement to add
'if-then-else' options if certain notifications are failing.
For example:

If your paging modem on COM1 doesn't respond, try a backup modem on COM2.
If your paging carrier doesn't answer, send an alternate email page via your
cell carrier.
If your SMTP server doesn't work, send windows pop-ups.

Hopefully, the programmers watch this list....
