Hi All,
We had a WAN line go down yesterday. I looked at my WUG v5.01 web
page and none of my WAN maps or devices on those maps were reporting as
being down. I drilled down through the web console to a device, and it's
status was "Alive & Active". The "Log Extract" reported the device as down
and timed out? When I pinged the device in a command prompt, I got "TTL
expired in transit" instead of timed out. Anybody have any idea of why WUG
did not report this correctly. I have had this device hang before and had
to restart it, and WUG reported it correctly then. I have no dependencies
setup. I was thinking this should have reported all of my WAN maps and
devices as down, and I would need to setup some dependencies? Any ideas
would be appreciated. Thanks!
