I think I've seen this before.
I have a pile of Oracle MIBs to hand, but not the one you were using. No
matter: I am pretty certain that this is caused by the MIB having a
DESCRIPTION that exceeds 20 Kb in length. Find this DESCRIPTION and cut
it's length and the error will go away when you then compile using MIBExtra.
However, you should also find that it makes no difference at all to the
output in MIB.TXT and TRAPS.TXT. That's because DESCRIPTION is not used
anyway.

I'm trying to get What's up gold to understand ORACLE SNMP stuff.
I'm trying to import the orainit.mib file that comes with Oracle, but it
complains
"WARNING line overflow with line starting with ..."
whatever the first line of the file is. I've made certain it's got crlf's.
Am I barking up the wrong tree? Oracle documentation claims it is following
standards so maybe I don't need this file as I've already loaded in
ref1565.mib.
