Adrian,

I reinstalled WUG7 with the wugsvc service removed and the console works
fine. The first time I installed(upgraded)it, the service was off/disabled
but still installed. FYI -- WUG was running...I had access throught the web.
There was just no console. It was almost like the console wasn't installed
the first time. Its working now though. thx for your help

If you log out of the box can you still access WUG via the web?

If you can - you still have a service running.

If you cannot - you have the console running, however it is
not showing it's console interface. So a follow on question
is, can you see an instance of the application on the taskbar
(not just in the TaskManager) or can you switch to the application
using Alt-Tab? Or is only visible via the TaskManager?
