market leader, we are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest
quality products through constant improvement. The upgrade to version 7.01
is a free patch available to customers currently using WhatsUp Gold version
7.0.  The patch can be downloaded at:

WhatsUp Gold 7.01 Provides:

- Added ability to lock a selected group of devices, which helps to anchor
devices when Active Discovery is �on.�
- Support for a section of the Rehabilitation Act making the product
more compatible for accessibility options
- Support for Microsoft XP Operating System
- Long DLLs and EXEs shortened (= or < 8) to support backup and
installation on older systems
- WUG Console Application will no longer run if WUG is already running
as a service, preventing conflicts from occurring when updating maps. Stop
the service before running WUG as a console application.
- Better syslog notification support
- Passwords now use * characters to cover entries in the console
- SNMP trap field length increased in web templates to 128 characters
