WUGurus, WUG 7.01 Hotfix 1 OS = NT4.0 Workstation Platform = Compaq Deskpro
I have a interesting little problem with the NT service plug-in. If I run WUG as an application, WUG will restart a stopped service, and log its actions in the DEBUG log. WUG does NOT log the event that an NT service had to be restarted (or was down, or whatever...). If I run WUG as a service, WUG will NOT restart the stopped service, but does log the SVCDOWN and SVCUP events. Is this conventional behaviour, or have I missed something? Is it possible to get the NT service plug-in to operate as a service and restart stopped services?
