Hi Eric.

I don't have too much firsthand experience at this, but a couple of
products that I have heard of are Patrol Dashboard
(http://www.bmc.com/products/proddocview.cfm?id=8475), CFLOWD
(http://www.caida.org/tools/measurement/cflowd/), and flowscan
(http://www.caida.org/tools/utilities/flowscan/).

I wish I could offer more direction, but I have never used these
products myself. Hopefully the links will get you headed in a good
direction...

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Are there any Traffic profiling applications
that I can add-in to WUG?

We integrate everything but the kitchen sink with What'sUp Gold
for an Enterprise Network Management system. I'm hoping to add
some decent network traffic profiling capabilities; we use MRTG
for *bandwidth graphing*, but I'm wanting to profile the various
protocols seen on a given interface.

In effect, I want something that will generate a graph similar
to MRTG, but graphing the total traffic as UDP/TCP/ICMP/GRE or
HTTP/FTP/TELNET/NetBIOS... Bar chart format would be preferable,
but pie or other is fine.

Microsoft Network Monitor (the SMS version) grabs this data, and
gives a quick breakdown. I need a tool that will grab the data
and give dynamic (1 minute, 5 minute, 10 minute, daily, weekly
and monthly) averaged output.

Anyone know of a tool that will do something similar, or have
some scripts?
