YES, We are using it to monitor the Virtual
Name, each node, and the cluster service on each node. And we are doing this with version 4.05
(yes we need to upgrade) BTW: This has nothing to do with cluster
service but you all may be interested. We are running WUG on server running terminal
services and ran into an issue where we could not update the notification file
(c:\winnt\ipnotify.ini) Turns out that WUG looks at the environment variable
home drive and home path instead of the system drive and systemroot
variable. Thus it writes the ipnotify.ini file to the person modifying WUG into
their H: drive. It creates a windows folder and system folder in the root of
the H: drive. And of course that works as long as that person is running WUG,
however once you exit and start up WUG as a service it goes back to reading the
one c:\winnt. This may have been fixed in later
versions. Steve Winston. -----Original Message----- Has anyone used WUG to
monitor MS cluster servers? Thanks |
