I just performed the 7.04 upgrade to my 2000 Adv. Server WUG machine. Backed up all specified files. Closed down the application and browser. Ran the upgrade file; took about 3-4 seconds to run. Rebooted the server for good measure. Then started up the application and browser. No problems whatsoever. However, according to the upgrade release notes, WUG was supposed to ask about overwriting the old mib and traps text files. I was never prompted to do so during any point of the upgrade procedure. My custom services are still listed under Monitors and Services. I will assume that all is well........................isn't it?
