Chris-
Change the port # that What's up Gold runs under. The default is 80. Change
it to 8080, or 8000..those are usually safe to use.

WUG web view with IIS installed??

Hi, people.
Earlier this year, one of the WUG techies helped me port my WUG
installation to a new server (off the forum). The last step to make it
fully functional was to ensure that IIS was not installed on the WUG
server. It hindered WUG access via the web. I just want to confirm that
again, as I just finished porting my WUG installation to yet another
server. After some work, I was successful. The main problem I encountered
this time was, I believe, due to the fact that I was taking it OFF a 2000
server and putting it ON an NT server. After I imported the WUG registry
folder from 2000 to NT, WUG generated a Dr. Watson error at startup. I
figured that the 2000 registry configuration was not cool shacking up on
the NT server. Right??
Anyway, IIS was installed on the NT server for web access to Compaq Insight
Manager. Is it somehow possible, but maybe very involved, to access the
WUG application through IIS?? Or, in other words, what is the technical
hinderance between WUG via web and IIS??
Thanks...............
