v7+ >From the console: By hand: Add a New Device to your map Device | Properties | General | IP Address (set the appropriate IP) Device | Properties | SNMP | Check the SNMP Manageable box Device | Properties | SNMP | Read Community (set to appropriate community string) Device | Properties | Services | Auto Discover button (press) You should see your interfaces on that device appear in the list of services to monitor. -or- If your device already exists on the map, fill in the community string in the device properties and pick Auto Discover button in the Services Category for the device properties. Or do an SNMP Smartscan of your network and insure that community strings are set and 'interface' is selected on the services page of the wizard. (tip: to visualize your interfaces look up the discussion of colored link lines in the manual) hth Adrian ----- Original Message ----- From: "David, Emmanuel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, October 10, 2002 9:25 AM Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Monitoring All Interfaces with One Icon > Hi, > > In the September newsletter the following was listed > > TIP OF THE MONTH > WhatsUp Gold can discover and monitor the individual > interfaces on your devices with one icon. > > How do you do this?
