SMTPMail alerting is working fine actually - we use our gateway device to perform SMTP 
Relay for the WUG Box.  What I'm referring to is when our Internet access fails (it 
did so recently) and the Relay device can't immediately deliver the alert, does this 
result in an 'Alert process failed', even though the message is queued and delivered 
later?

I had trouble with the email alert when using Exchange. The problem was in
the way the "from" field was formatted. I removed what was there and just
listed my email address between the < and > signs => <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
