I sent out three emails. The first one had a single file that you needed,
the second one had the other file that you needed. However, I sent out a
zipped file with both updated files within it. That is the one you should
be using.

If you did not get the zipped file e-mail the board and someone can send it
to you. I would have sent it to you, but I am out of the office today.

Sorry...

Subject: RE: [WhatsUp Forum] Telnet Tool - Correct Attachment

I added this file to the web folder of whatsup and when I click on the
telnet button of a host, it just loads a new page...it does not actually
telnet. The new page that gets loaded just has a return link on it.
Any
ideas?

This is the correct file this time. I grabbed the wrong one.

I thought that people might like this tool. This adds a Telnet button
to
the tools menu. When you select a specific device and then choose tools
you
are given the options (Ping, Trace, Lookup, Scan, and now Telnet).

Hope this is useful to people.

Test this asp to see if it works for you before replacing your own. Go
into
the C:\Program Files\CWW6\WhatsUp\WebTemplateArchive\Classic\ Folder and
rename tools.asp to tools2.asp. Then place the attached file into the
folder.
