I am currently monitoring 100 novell servers. Have around 2000 to monitor. I am getting false alerts on HDD space. I have down loaded the novell mibs and have created a instance for each volume. Example sys is instance 1 sys2 is instance 2 vol1 instance 3 and vol3 is instance 4 and so on. They way I have done it is I discover a server then right click on it go to snmp view right click on system and go to view mib drill down to private, enterprise, novellmib, mibdoc, nwserver, nwfilesystem, nwfsvoltable, click on nwvoll1 then on the right hand side of the screen I double click on nwvolfree the last digit is the instance. This is how I have created my services. Example sys is instance 1 sys2 is instance 2 vol1 instance 3 and vol3 is instance 4 and so on. I am using snmp monitoring and the settings are range of values low 200 high 200000000 I have tried rate of change in values and all devices turn purple. Any help would be appreciated
