For those of you wanting to see all down devices in the marquee from a MAP
view (not just topview), I believe I have a working solution. Backup then
edit the MAP.ASP file. Look for the line that starts with <MARQUEE> and add
a new line directly below it containing the following text
<%START_LOADED_MAP_LIST%>. Now find the line that starts with </MARQUEE>
and add a new line immediately above it containing <%END_LOADED_MAP_LIST%>.
I have only tested it for a few hours, but so far it's working for me. Test
this if you like but make sure to save the previous version. The changes
you make will look end up looking like the following ("new line" stuff is
only for reference):
<MARQUEE>
<%START_LOADED_MAP_LIST%> (NEW LINE #1)
<%START_DEVICE_LIST%>
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
<%END_DEVICE_LIST%>
<%END_LOADED_MAP_LIST%> (NEW LINE #2)
</MARQUEE></TD>
Good luck!

Does anyone know how to get the marquee in map.asp to show all devices down?

Here's the file updated to disallow the scrolling of Containers and
Subnets.
Also added these comments in the code for future reference:
The first two IF statements below disallow the display of Containers and
Subnets.
If you desire to display subnets, simply delete the entire ELSEIF line for
Subnets.
If you want to filter more types of items simpy copy/paste the the ELSEIF
line
and change the host type to the devices you wish to filter.
