Title: disk space

As long as the insight manager agents are running you should be able to get these. If you go to the download section of www.somix.com , you can download the Compaq MIBs and compile them into WUG.

Mike,

We are using Compaq servers.  I entered the OID you listed but it returns no values. I am assuming I need the mibs compiled into WUG. Do I need to compile the compaq mibs? If so which ones? I only need to monitor disk space, everything else I need is already monitoring properly Excuse my ignorance but I am getting a CRASH course in SNMP.

Thanks

Jay

Unfortunately there is no way to do the percentage thing unless there is a different MIB that the server vendor supports. Compaq supports % space at 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.4.1.1.5.$INSTANCE.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] disk space

Hello again, I am monitoring disk space using the NT performance counters. I can walk the mib tree and get instances for both drives, C & D. However the value for % disk space and free MB under logical disk for D drive is 0. C drive reports fine. I changed the drive letter from D to F and the instance changes yet the value is still 0. I have contacted and stumped the Ipswitch tech staff. Has anyone had similar problems? Better yet has anyone been able to correct a similar problem.

Thanks again,
Jay
