This highlighting lets you know that the subnet or device itself has had a problem. To clear this select "monitor -> acknowledge".
>>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11/21/02 02:38PM >>> Sorry, forgot to mention. I was talking about the text under the icon. The icon itself will change from red burst icon (when down) to green diamond when up. All that works great. It's just the text (the server name) that stays highlighted that I am asking about. Thanks for the replies so far! Someone explained that to me. Thanks! But, how do I get rid of the highlighting? I have my WUG server packed away with a 25' monitor cord going to a small 15" monitor that sits at the entrance to our IT department, so that when we come in that's the first thing we see and check how the servers are doing. But I don't want to have to access the server all the time to "de-highlight" the icons that are highlighted. I want WUG to say "Ok, I'll highlight this server because it caused an event so everyone knows, but in 1 minute I'll refresh that icon and put it back to normal". Any ideas? Thanks!
