As long as we, the forum, is on the topic of features. It would be very helpful to have access to all of the WUG service variable (actually all device, service and alert setting) in the web tags.
When looking at the SERVICE and SERVICE_STATISTICS tags I see that there are not tags for the service comment, the service argument and the service name without the argument and comment. This means that when ever I want to add/change services with this items I must use the console, not the web interface. I know that there are a lot thing the web interface doesn't do, but this is one of the biggest issues for me. WUG has a great database for all of the device info, and it would be very nice to use it with other programs. I have already set WUG to interface with HP Web Jet Admin, and some basic PC remote management tools. I can now find a printer in WUG and click right into Web Jet Admin. It has speed up printer management a lot. I have ideas on how to get WUG to work with or integrate with some other programs. But I can't do it because WUG doesn't give full access to it's wonderful data set in the web interface. One of the programs I have figured out to interface with is MRTG. (I know Somix thinks they do this. They only export the config from WUG when you manually do it.) I plan to run MRTG using a WUG asp file as it's config file. I have it all figured out, but can't get it to work, because I don't have access to all of the fields that WUG already has. I have stopped my integration plans for now, because WUG falls just short of it's great potential.
