The trick to saving this is you also have to save it from the map settings. So after you make your changes and click on submit, you also have to to the settings for that map and submit it as well. That one had me stumped for a while too.
We're running v7.2. I've seen several problems on this list with upgrading to 7.04 so I haven't been that brave yet, but I have had a problem all along since v6ish that's driving me nuts. WUG runs as a service normally, and if we need to make a change to anything other than users or temporarily unmonitoring something due to maintenance, the changes made via the web don't get saved...ie shutting down the service and bringing up the GUI doesn't reflect the changes made via the web. What it's come down to is "every" change we make we have to use the GUI...VNC, shut service down, wait the 30 seconds, start GUI, make our changes, save, shutdown GUI, wait 30 seconds, and start service.
