It shouldn't matter what mobile network you are sending to. Here in the UK, I use a One2One SMS call centre to send sms alerts to virgin, one2one, orange and vodaphone mobiles without a problem.
If you are just interested in sending alerts out of WUG, it may be worth looking at the SMS beta plug in for alerting. -----Original Message----- From: Simon Eastick [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 09 December 2002 23:35 To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Off Topic - SMS solutions I'm in New Zealand and use an add in application called "Wireless Messaging For Exchange" with MS Exchange to send an email message as an SMS alert to Telecom (025 and 027). There is a password and an access number which the Exchange server dials via a standard modem. I want/need to be able to do this for both Vodaphone (021) and Telstra (029) cell phones but no-one will tell me the appropriate numbers. Does anyone know how I can do this? My apologies for sending this to WUG but it seems there are users out there who may be able to help. If anyone can pint me at a more appropriate list I would be grateful.
