Hallo Jeroen,
Het is niet aan te raden om een device type te gebruiken, want je hebt L2
dev en L3 met verschillende ip adresen. De MSFC kan wel defect zijn maar je
SUP nog steed actief, en tweede je hebt geen switch (symbol) in WUG.
Probeer pakage van ciscoview voor cat6500 te gebruiken, het werkt!

Does anyone have experience with monitoring cisco catalyst 6500. (
switch/router combination )
I like to monitor at this time only de basic problems ( up/down ). But
there are a few
problems i can't resolve.
- Can i use one devicetype for montoring the 6500 ?
- Is there a default devicetype for a switch, or do i need to create it
myself.
