Dear experts, I have been using services.ini to add various services to be discovered during auto discovery of NT/W2k Servers.
Case 1: What I have noticed is I have two servers both have similar services running say WINS, DNS, DHCP. One server all the services are being discovered while the second server only spooler service is being discovered. Case 2: Some servers I am picking up Network cards during auto discovery and while other servers are not reporting. Are there any services in the server that has to be running before I can discover various services running on a server? I am also curious how does WUG retarts a service when we have Restart=1 in servicesl.ini. I know it works but just want to know how does WUG do this? Will really appreciate your insights into the situation I am having. Also somone has done CPU, diskspace and memory monitoring running in NT/W2K and have some screen shots from WUG, I will appreciate if you can forward to me so that I don't have to do it all over again.
