I have various notification methods configured in my 7.04 installation.
95% of the time we send an e-mail to a pager. But for all of our Lotus
Notes servers, I have WUG send a page to the pager. We recently noticed a
failure of delivery of SNMP traps on the Notes servers, which were supposed
to go out as a page to the pager. While the exact problem had nothing to
do with the pagers, we did stumble upon the fact that the configuration of
the pager number had to be changed from what previously worked fine. We
use Arch Wireless pagers. In the configuration for a page to a pager, on
the top line, we enter the general number for the modem bank at Arch
Wireless. In the pager ID line, we enter the 7 digit phone number assigned
to the specific pager. So, WUG dials up the number to get into the Arch
Wireless modem bank, and then the pager phone number is passed as like a
password for our account with Arch Wireless; and the notification gets
redirected out to the specific pager. Just last week, I discovered that
the entry in the pager configuration now requires the area code and the 7
digit number. I did upgrade from 7.03 to 7.04 at some time this past
summer/fall, but I cannot recall with any certainty about the timing of the
upgrade and the realization of pager problems. But you can take my
experience for what it's worth.......

I just upgraded from 7.02 to 7.04 and now my pager notifications no longer
work. Does anyone know how to fix this? I already looked at the Ipswitch
knowledge base without any luck.
Thanks,
