I know that this is not exactly the 'best' fit for this question but I know
that there are a LOT of SNMP guru's out here monitoring NT4 servers and this
kind of does involve WUG.

I am attempting to monitor (with SNMP) a NT4 SP6a server running SMS. Now I
mention SMS because this seems to be where the problem lies.

First, I loaded SNMP4NT files on the server and made sure I could read the
data. I am trying to read the OID's for the logical disk size, etc. It seems
to work fine but then after a few times the SNMP service will dump with an
'Access Violation' error. I also get the following errors in the log files:

The data portion of event 19002 from MSSQLServer is invalid.

MS SQL SNMP Extension Agent starting, Copyright Microsoft Corp.
1988-1998, version 7.00.623.

The application, exe\snmp.dbg, generated an application error The
error occurred on 1/6/2003 @ 5:45:20.774 The exception generated was
c0000005 at address 7800fefc (fcloseall)

I can't find anything on Microsoft's web site or any other place.

Any ideas?

Scott
