Hi,
1: Try to find out, what services are supported by your local telco. In
Switzerland for example we have two phone numbers by swisscom (one for ISDN
and one for Analog phones). Unfortunaly only the analog line is working
together with Whats Up. You also have to find out, what protocol is used
(TAP, SMS-TAP, NTT or UCP-SMS).
2: You need an analog modem that can be handled be Whats Up. I have tried
two ISDN-Modems with Analog emulations (Zyxel and AVM). This modems do'nt
work.
In my environment I have tested the Zyxel Omni 56K Plus external analog
modem on COM1 (or COM2) and the Calxan CL-MOD-7140 internal analog modem.
Both are working fine.

Tip: After 4 missing polls I generate an SMS, one missing poll later I
generate a 'Beeper Alert' to my mobile with a timeout from 25000
milliseconds, so I am waked up during night when I have critical alerts.
