Nothing need be changed on the monitored server if it is running Windows
2000 or Windows XP.

However, on the WUG side, the Windows Log event collector (WINEVNT.EXE)
needs to be running under an account that has administrative rights over the
remote server.

If you are running WUG as a normal Windows app, nothing installed as a
service, then you need to be logged into Windows under an account that has
administrative rights over the remote box.

If you are running the collector as a service by doing this:

        winevnt.exe -service

...you will need to go into the Services applet of Control Panel and change
its startup settings so that it logs in as an administrative user.

If all your monitored systems are using Domain security, then the user
account you use can be any account that is in the "Domain Admins" group. If
each system maintains its own accounts, then you will need to synchronize
the passwords of like-named accounts on all monitored systems and use one of
these synchronized accounts.
