Hello,
If your MRTG savy, you could create a report to
calculate free disk space using the following MIBs:
1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.5
hrStorageSize
then subtract:
1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.6
hrStorageUsed
multiply the above results by:
1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.4
hrStorageAllocationUnits
Another way using WMI is to use the free 50
user license of OStivity
Login: guest Password: guest
I created this report for all machines with less than 40 gig free disk space on the C: drive. The above is a Compaq machine.
Hope this helps,
Somix

For UNIX especially Solaris and linux, use
net-snmp with "host" compiled in
(see net-snmp.sourceforge.net).
However, I'm suspecting you've got all
Wintel boxes.
