Hello, i am monitoring our cisco network with whats up. after quite a time i've seen that there is no way to monitor spanning tree ports.
( Spanning tree: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/tech/tk389/tk621/tech_protocol_family_home.ht ) Now, i disable all span ports because if i enable them wug shows them as failure. Something like a StandBy state would fit. I don't know if it is possible to determine status of interface from mib, will look for that. regards Martin -- Dipl.-Ing.
