I have repeated requests by users to make the WUG logs available. I had the thought
that it would be nice to list and display them in the same fashion the Performace
Graphs can be accessed via the WUG web. I verified that I could drop them into the
whatsup\web\reports directory, but I though it may be best to keep them seperated.
That all said I looked at the ReportPerformanceGraphs.asp to see what was going on and
the portion which appears to create the listing of reports, to me, does not reveal an
easy area to substitute variables in order for my scheme to work. I was hoping that
the asp was reading the reports directory so I could make some changes and have a
similar script do the same to my logs directory.
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" bgColor="#c0c0c0" border=0>
<th>Available Reports</hr>
<tr><td> </td></tr>
<%START_PERFORMANCE_REPORT_LIST%>
<tr>
<td><A href="<%URL_ENCODE% (%PERFORMANCE_REPORT%
URL)>"><%PERFORMANCE_REPORT% NAME></a> </td>
</tr>
<%END_PERFORMANCE_REPORT_LIST%>
I am not well read on asp progamming and I have yet to delve seriously into the WUG
scripting tools so I was wondering if anyone may know a quick way to do this before I
investigate further.
Also, I desire not to add an FTP site or other such service to the Host on which wug
is located, hence my present course.
Thanks!
