Lee, This is easily possible in WhatsUp Gold 8 with the new Service Restart notification. From the release notes: - A new notification type that allows you to stop or start a specific NT service (local or remote). This allows you to manage NT services based on activity on your network.
Here is how it works: - Configure the NT Service monitor and un-check the restart option. - Configure the Service Restart notification. - Apply your e-mail and Service Restart notifications to the device.
