You can use MS DOS *.bat files with parameters from WhatsUp for sending AT
commands to serial ports.

Has anyone had any experience in setting up a GSM modem to send an SMS
notification directly. I have a Siemens TC3 GSM modem, I am able to produce
the AT command string to send an SMS using a console like Hyper terminal
but What's Up does not seem to have a notification option to just send AT
commands to a serial port.

I have also noticed that version 8 has SMS support that seems to work in a
similar fashion to a paging service.

Any response would be appreciated
Daniel
