I am noticing an issue / problem with acknowledged
alerts. The way I want my alerts to work is as follows.
I have 4 alerts setup (to various individuals)
after 4 missed polls, the first alert goes out (Even if
console Response)
other alerts are setup to go out after 10, 20 and 30 minutes
and are set to Not send if there is a console
response.
When the device comes back up, anyone who received an alert
gets the associated UP message.
It used to work quite nicely. If it took 25 minutes to
acknowledge the alert and the first 3 alerts went out (4, 10 and 20 minutes) -
when the device came back up, those same 3 UP messages would go
out.
Lately, I am seeing (inconsistently) that if the alert is
acknowledged, only the 1st alert is getting the UP message. The other UP
messages all state, not processed due to console response......
How is it supposed to work? Are UP messages supposed to
go out for ALL DOWN messages that went out, or does that happen only if the
"Even if console response" box is checked???
