[WhatsUp Forum] email alerts for windows event viewer

I have alerts configured to send an email out whenever there is an error in the windows event viewer.  This all works fine; however, I get email alerts from those notifications when the server goes down.  What I would like to know is, is it possible to set up those notifications to receive emails about an error in the event viewer, but not receive an email alert about the server going down?   TIA for any help.   Dan Eyster Lockheed Martin Space Ops MCP+I, MCSE NT4.0/2000 (717) 705-5140 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
