I asked the question of sales two weeks ago and did not get a reply?

Do customers need to purchase a full license and maintenance for a second
WhatsUp that will only be used to monitor the first? I have enough users
and systems relying on the functionality of WhatsUp that I need to do this.
The only question is what is it going to cost.

Well, you could buy another version of WUG to sit and monitor the first
version....

But, do you need to monitor the connection of the box the computer is
running on? If so, can't you just ping the box that Wug is running?

Why can't you just have WUG notifiy you when it can't ping your box?
