Heya Guys,

I have a couple generic questions regarding MIB, OID, and TRAP files and the
mibextra utility. I extracted all of the MIB info for WUG with minimal
errors/rejects/warnings using the default options with mibextra.

D:\nms\wug\mibextra cisco\mib\*.mib

So then I used the same syntax on the .oid and .trap files (not knowing what
would happen)

D:\nms\wug\mibextra cisco\mib\oid\*.oid
D:\nms\wug\mibextra cisco\mib\trap\*.trap

Mibextra seemed to run with no errors and said it processed all the files.
Was my reasoning here accurate or is there a separate way to import OID and
TRAP files?

When I look at the traps I am still getting the long lines that don't mean a
whole lot to humans. Did I omit a step or are these the normal trap
formats?
