Hi,
When we connect on WhatsUp web interface (WUG 8.0
running on WinXP), map icons are displayed in black. IPSwitch
support says this problem occurs when using a remote connection.
Their analysis (http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WG-20021119-DM02.htm)
is "This is caused by color depth. If
you use anything higher than 256 colors the icons go black and stay black
until a client connects with 256 colors or less."; and solution is "To
enforce a maximum color depth of 256 colors use group
policy.".
But we get this problem whenever we connect
remotely or localy. So I guess (and have checked with several tests) this is
not a color depth issue. Anyone has an idea?
