Jason,
WUG expects an EOT at the end of transmission using the DefaultTap.sc.
If the provider does not send one, we consider this a fail and retry.
My guess is ATT is not sending a EOT.
Try using the NoEOTTap.sc.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] AT&T Wireless SMS Alert Failure
I have a very annoying problem. I have WUG configured to send SMS alerts to our cell phones (Verizon, Sprint, Cingular, and AT&T). They all work fine except AT&T. The settings I'm using have worked in the past (recipient has received the message) but WUG continuously says that the alert failed and therefore retries again and again and again. I don't think he's even receiving the message now, but haven't confirmed this yet. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know of a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Here are the settings I'm using:
Dial Up #: 1 800 841 8837 _Default TAP Baud Rate: 300 Data Bits: 7 Parity: Even Stop Bits: 1
