Ye, I noticed that WUG does that sometimes. I asume u r using Windows.
Here is what you do when the app does not start even though it creates a process --
 bring up your Processes list from under Windows Task Menager,
 sort them by name and locate the WHASUPG.exe (or something)
 kill that process and now try runnig WUG again.
