If you're using an APC UPS the indicator that it is no longer on battery is
called "powerRestored" which is TRAP Int:9 . You should get the APC file
POWERNET.MIB and compile it using MIBEXTRA. Then add the desired traps as
events to your device and be sure to include them in the alert. The best
sight I have found for mibs, traps, and searching for OID's is at
http://MibDepot.com. Below is a list of TRAPs I like to use for APC. Good

I am fairly new to SNMP. I set my UPS to send traps to my WUG server. I
created a monitor to alert me if a "UPS on battery" trap arrives. It works
great. But how do I get WUG to send me a message that it is off battery? Do
I have to set up another monitor for the "UPS on Power" trap? Or can I do
it right through the first monitor?
