Is there a way to reorder or sort monitored services or interfaces for a device?
There is no move up or move down button under Device Services to monitor dialog. If you add a new service to monitor it appends it to the bottom of the list. It does not auto insert the new item above a selected existing item. For Cisco switch port interfaces we only add the interface and port name description if the port is enabled and in use. The Auto Discover function resets the interface names if the device is rescanned. Is there a certain file that can be edited to change the sort order? The Move Up and Move Down buttons do appear on the Device Menu dialog along with Add...Edit...Remove(or Delete).... But, again, it does not appear in the Alert Notification dialog. I wish there was some uniform method to the list available button functions within Whatsup Gold. Perhaps in version 9.0 (hint). Thanks in advance...add another item to the WUG wish list.
