Use %1 - Info line 1, %2 - Info line 1, or %N - Notes to put a map name if they are available (empty) of course. I run replacements in XML files, i.e replace "<InfoLine1/>" with "<InfoLine1>Your Map Name</InfoLine1>" and so on for <InfoLine2/> or <Notes/> in each device for corresponding
map. A simple text editor (Notepad) works fine and pretty fast for replacements in dozens of devices at once, no programming needed.
WUG interface is not so user friendly, I had to modify many things, especially Web Interface.

When a devce generates an alert, I'd like to be able to include the name
of
the map that the device is on as part of the alert. Is there a
notification variable (%
wahtever) that can be used to do this? OR if not, has anyone found a way
around this limitation? I thought about including a few lines from the
event log (%L) in the alert, and even though the map info is in the
EV-XXX.tab event log file, it gets stripped out using the %L variable. (as
it also does in the console web views.)
